Our marketing department is based at our Ilfracombe depot, but covers both depots. The main aim is to grow sales through both traditional and digital marketing, with a customer-centric approach. Tasks include creating images and adverts, writing content, analysing data, planning events, designing brochures and supporting other departments. Salary:                                                  £21,000 – £23,000 per annum DPE

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the planning and execution of our online marketing efforts, as well as offline marketing.

We have embarked upon a strategic programme of system development that provide the latest in technology solutions, enabling a radical improvement to their customer proposition, the aim being to provide a frictionless customer journey. Tying in with this digital transformation, the past 18 months has seen significant growth in social media followers, the launch of a new static website, an expanding ecommerce platform, and sights are set high for further progression over the next 6 months.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create images/content for social media platforms, and schedule using Hootsuite. Plan and suggest future posts according to results.
  • Source product and library images for brochures
  • Create digital banners and print adverts/flyers
  • Assist in the maintenance of our static website
  • Report social media analytics and take relevant actions
  • Event/exhibition administration and organisation
  • Support internal departments by providing POS materials and sales aids


Person Specification

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a passion for both traditional and digital marketing. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how this can be a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be highly organised, and creative in design, with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns.

  • Understand the importance of data, and effective marketing campaigns growing sales
  • Have experience in creating images for digital marketing covering social media, websites and emarketing, preferably using Canva
  • Display outstanding attention to detail and have content writing experience
  • Have knowledge of emarketing via Mailchimp
  • Have excellent excel knowledge in order to report analytics and measure campaign success
  • Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with B2B customers
